WHY INVEST IN
HYDROGEN ELECTROLYSIS


In the current context of global energy crisis, the rising conflicts and concerns about the shortage of fossil fuels, the inflation of crude oil prices, the accelerated global warming and many other factors have all led to increase the worldwide interests in renewable energy sources.

Today, the use of hydrogen is developing in many sectors and countries driven by government supports. However, current hydrogen production solutions are either inexpensive but CO2-emmitting (gas reforming) or clean, but expensive, often inefficient and relying on rare metals (PEM and SOEC electrolyzers).

A clean, efficient and easy to implement solutions is therefore needed and this is why we have developed a modular, scalable and ultra-efficient hydrogen production solution using alkaline electrolysis technology.

OUR AMBITION


CLEAN H2


Since hydrogen is a solution for clean mobility, industry and for the renewable energy sector, it needs to be produced without emissions, pollutants or using rare components.

The cleanest hydrogen production method is water electrolysis, provided that the electricity used is decarbonated. We therefore designed an electrolysis unit featuring the lowest footprint possible: a full hydrogen production system, produced in a single location, using recyclable components.

The key element of our technology, the Zero Gap®, uses a membrane and a catalyzer free of any rare metals such as platinum or iridium, usually used for electrolysis, and still offers the best efficiency on the market.



ABUNDANT H2


We have designed our production units with the intention of producing a maximum amount of hydrogen using a minimum amount of electricity. The Hy-Cube specific energy consumption is 4.25kWh/Nm3.

We produce all the components of our electrolyzers in our plant in France. This gives us full control on our production chain and allows us to customize our scalable units to the customer's precise need and application. Our AEM membrane* and proprietary control software are designed to achieve and maintain efficient hydrogen production levels.

It is the design of the complete system that allows us to achieve a level of efficiency unmatched on the market.


COST EFFECTIVE H2


In order to promote the use of hydrogen as an alternative to fossil fuel, it needs to be affordable and available.

Our units are conceived as modular cubes equipped with clusters of standardized generators, which allows extreme customization and significant scale optimizations. The proprietary software is configurable to enable efficient power supply management. The Zero Gap® technology ensures optimum efficiency and a quick start & stop in order to absorb the grid fluctuation due to the intermittency.

It is the exceptional efficiency, the quick start & stop, the scale optimizations and the modularity of our solution that make it possible to achieve the lowest price per KW on the market today.

CONTROL UNIT
HY-CUBE®
Zero Gap® technology
The control unit regulates the production of hydrogen depending on the available electrical power and/or the amount of hydrogen required. Upstream resource reading, consumables use and performance reporting are managed by a programmable proprietary software, designed to ensure efficient flow management.

The control unit also manages the active safety of the system through a system of programmable automated systems and sensors located in different areas of the production units. The safety level is also customizable for a complete adaptation to each specific environment and application.
HY-CUBE® is a containerized hydrogen production unit composed of a flexible number of standard hydrogen generators organized in modular and scalable clusters. The number of generators is calibrated according to the desired output and each generator is equipped with our Zero Gap®* technology for an optimized intrinsic efficiency.

The HY-CUBE® is the most efficient electrolysis hydrogen production solution thanks to its

HY-CUBE® units are available in 20-ft containers units producing up to 270kgH2/d, in 40-ft containers units producing up to 540kgH2/d or 2 x 40-ft containers units producing up to 1080kgH2/d. A single central unit controls several production units.
Zero Gap® is a revolutionary technology in which the key element is an innovative Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM)* with an electrolysis efficiency of 75% (LHV), which is the highest on the market today.

The technology does not require rare metals such as platinum and iridium, the optimized efficiency is reached by adding a compatible, cheap and sustainable layer of catalysts on both sides of the membrane and at both ends of the electrodes.
